Covid-19. What's happening at Blendbetter

Online

We are still accepting orders through our website though you will notice that a number of items are out of stock.

Please be considerate of other users when ordering online and only order what you need. If we all shop considerately there is enough pet food to go round.

Our normal lead time for out of stock items is 3 working days many products are now taking longer than this to restock; some lines have been temporarily suspended by their manufacturers to allow more capacity for popular lines. With this in mind we have temporarily removed the facility to order out of stock items.

Due to the current levels of demand some orders are taking a little longer than usual to process so, if you don't receive your parcel right away, please allow 2 extra working days before contacting us.

We will not be monitoring our social media accounts during this time so, if you do need to contact us regarding an order please do so by sending us an Email at sales@blendbetter.co.uk

Online orders for our local delivery routes are largely unaffected. However, our cut off time for same day delivery to Carlisle on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening is now 11 a.m. If we are unable to allocate space on our van your delivery will be carried forward to the next available delivery day.

If you are self isolating please let us know and we'll pass this onto the courier for you.

In Store

Our store is still open from Monday - Saturday at 8:30 a.m though we are closing earlier on some days in order to allow us to replenish stock etc.

To protect our staff we are asking that you only visit the store if you absolutely have to.

Do NOT Visit the store if you are displaying any symptoms.

While in our store please follow these guidelines:

  • Allow 2 meters between yourself and other customers and staff members.
  • We have marked out 'safe zones' around our tills and ask that you do not enter these zones except to pay for your goods. Once your payment is complete please step back while we conclude the transaction for you.
  • At very busy times it may be necessary to limit the numbers of customers in the shop. If this is the case you will be asked to wait in the car park until another customer leaves.
  • We may restrict the number of items you can purchase if our stock is low. If you normally buy a larger quantity from us please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate.
  • We cannot take orders for items that are out of stock.
  • Threatening behaviour towards our staff will not be tolerated.
  • If you fail to observe social distancing guidelines or any of the guidance set out above you will be asked to leave the store.
